Description

DROPS Delight is a single ply yarn made of superwash wool and reinforced with polyamide. This makes this yarn perfect to knit luxurious socks with colorful gradient effects.

DROPS Delight is so soft, has so nice feeling and is presented in so many colors that this sock yarn is ideal to knit other projects as shawls and sweaters too.

Try to knit a cardigan or a scarf and see how the color is changing in a nice transition, thanks to the "magic print" coloring technique by DROPS. This technique creates smooth color transitions and unique variations; that means that in the same dye lot there can be lighter and darker hues and tones. This is not an error or a defect, it is part of the characteristics of the yarn and its peculiarity.

The color transitions that you can see in the pictures are from a smal swatch. Please keep in mind that the effect and the size of the transitions will vary depending on the size of the garment, whether it is knitted in the round or flat, the stitch pattern used,... Unleash your creativity with the magic of colors of these large yarn balls!

DROPS Delight, the thin version of DROPS Bigh Delight, has the particularity of having superwash treatment. This means that unlike its big brother, garments knitted with these yarn balls can go to the washing machine without risk of shrinking or being damaged. 

The small and nice handspun-like variations will make that your most simple projects look rich in color and texture. To knit a simple long-sleeved sweater in size L you will need around 6 yarn balls, but remember that this is only an approximation and that your own tension, technique and stitch pattern used may vary this calculation.

To knit a pair of socks you will need 1 yarn ball for each foot.

DROPS Delight is made in the European Union and has the STANDARD 100 Class I certificat by Oeko-Tex®, that guaranties that the yarn is free of harmful chemicals and it is totally safe for human use. Moreover, the Class I classification is the highest one and means that this yarn is suitable for baby garments.
