Description

Eucalan is a no-rinse delicate wool wash, perfect for cleaning and blocking your wool garments.

In this case, it is a 100ml bottle with a jasmine fragrance. It is ideal size for washing your clothes while traveling!

You have dedicated many hours to knit your wool garments; why not give them the best care after you wore them?

Eucalan is an ideal product for the delicate washing of your garments. The best thing is that it does not need rinsing, so hand-washing your garments will be a moment. This soap is more than a blocking agent for your knitted garments: use it too as your normal washing for delicate garments. With Eucalan, you can also wash your clothes in the washing machine.

Eucalan washes your hand-made garments, and it is also a great natural fibers conditioner. The no-rinse wash Eucalan will be your ally for softening and giving the perfect finishing to your garments made with rustic skeins or pure wool, like dLana's bobbins or skeins, or the different varieties of Holst garn yarn, that have not been treated after being spun. Its formula, enriched with natural lanolin (the wax produced by sheep's sebaceous glands), conditions fibers and helps to eliminate the garment's static electricity.

Eucalan is a non-toxic, biodegradable, phosphate-free, and synthetic fragrance-free product that complies with strict European rules. This is a pH neutral product without dyes or other optical brighteners.

Also, its delicate fragrance (obtained with high-quality essential oils) will leave a wonderful perfume in your garments and your closet.

Remember that it is essential to wash all your wool garments before storing them definitely in your wardrobe to avoid moths. You can read this post we wrote at Miss Kits some time ago.

Eucalan is a company founded and managed by women, and its name comes from the combination of the original product's main ingredients: eucalyptus and lanolin.

How to use Eucalan?

Washing and blocking your wool garments with Eucalan is very easy.

1. Fill a basin or sink with lukewarm water, not cold or hot.

2. Add some drops of Eucalan and stir a bit to dilute it well.

3. Dip your wool garment delicately in the water and let it there soaking for 15-20 minutes.

4. After this time, remove the garment from the water delicately. Press it carefully against the side of the basin to rid of water. Do not twist the garment nor let it hang with the water weight. Remember that it doesn't need rinsing.

5. Lay your garment over a towel and make a roll. Press it to remove the excess moisture.

6. Let your garment dry flat, away from hot sources or direct sunlight.

If you want to block a shawl, for example, lay it over a blocking board and use knit blockers to keep the piece's shape.
