Description

DROPS Melody is a full bodied yarn, soft and thin, perfect to knit lightweight oversize pullovers.

In spite off its thin weight, DROPS Melody is a yarn categorized as bulky, the kind that are knitted with large needles to finish your projects quickly. This is due to the amount of hair and halo it has, with an appearance similar to mohair but composed of 71% superfine alpaca, 25% merino wool and only 4% resistant polyamide.

These warm yarn balls in soft colors, with shades of frey and beige, various red and violet tones, can be worked alone or mixed with other threads to create garments of greater volume. Join DROPS Melody to your fingering yarn and give more softness to your jumper.

To knit a simple long-sleeved sweater in size L with DROPS Melody and 8mm knitting needles you will only need 5 yarn balls. This estimation may vary depending on your knitting tension, the chosen stitch pattern, the large of the garment,... knit a tension swatch to adjust the calculations.
