Description

Linen is a yarn by Katia characterized by its natural colors and its composition of linen and cotton.

This light and fresh yarn is perfect for knitting summer ponchos, crochet vests, or sweaters, both for men and women.

Katia Linen is a medium-weight yarn, ideal for knitting with 3.5 - 4mm needles. As it has 47% linen, this yarn is lighter than other cotton yarns of the same thickness.

Both linen and cotton are two vegetable fibers ideal for knitting summer garments. To make a short-sleeved sweater for a woman in size L, you will need 8 skeins. Remember that this is only an estimation and that your own tension, chosen stitch, and kind of pattern may modify the calculation. Make a tension swatch to get a more precise estimation.

Natural fibers in Linen make it also perfect for knitting cushions, blankets, curtains, and other home decor items. Due to its lightness and composition, Katia Linen is a highly recommended yarn for making bags and backpacks for the summer.
