Regia Premium Alpaca Soft is a blend of wool, polyamide, and baby Suri alpaca, perfect for warm socks.

Regia Premium Alpaca Soft singularity is in the baby Suri alpaca proportion, which fiber has a particularly smooth surface. That makes that fabrics made with it result comfortable and with a nice texture.

Although alpaca is not as elastic as wool, Regia 4-thread quality is twisted to make it perfect for knitting comfortable socks.

Also, Regia Premium Alpaca Soft has a treatment that will not only allow you to wash your garments in the washing machine; it will also make the yarn fluffier and softer wash after wash.

So, Regia Premium Alpaca Soft is much more than just a sock yarn. With these yarn balls by Regia, you can make sweaters, cardigans, shawls,... anything you can imagine to make with a fingering weight yarn and the incredible softness of baby Suri alpaca.

Fibers of Suri breed alpacas are much longer and dense, making them softer, silkier, and with a better shine than alpaca fibers from the huayaca breed (more common and the one that is usually sold under the alpaca label). We can say that alpaca Suri combines the softness of cashmere with the shine and luster of silk. The label "baby" indicates that these skeins' fibers come from the first shearing of Suri alpacas, which makes it an even more fine and smooth fiber.

Regia Premium Alpaca Soft colors are not completely solid; they are mottled along the yarn. That will give an interesting touch of rustic color to your sweaters.
