Anchor Creativa 8ply is perfect both for knitting and crochet. Being mercerized cotton, Anchor Creativa 8ply is a resistant and easy to handle yarn. If you are a crochet beginner, this is an ideal yarn for your first projects. 

This Egyptian Giza cotton yarn is soft, silky, breathable, and hypoallergenic, making it perfect for garments in direct contact with the skin. All Anchor yarns are produced under Oeko-tex standards, which guarantees consumer safety, certifying that textile materials are free of harmful substances.

Egyptian Giza cotton is one of the best and most appreciated kinds of cotton worldwide. This kind of Egyptian cotton is harvested in the Nile Delta, whose environmental conditions influence the final cotton quality: the amount of sunlight, the environmental humidity, and the nutrient-rich soil stimulates this particular cotton specimen growth. However, it is possible, particularly with dark colors, that excess dye stays on the thread. To minimize any potential bleeding of excess dyestuff, Anchor suggests always wash the cotton garments at the hottest temperature possible with a large amount of water. 

Anchor Creativa 8ply has the same quality as Anchor Creativa Fino and Anchor Creativa Denim, but it is slightly thicker, which will allow you to work with bigger needles.
