Description

Rowan Alpaca Classic is a light alpaca and cotton yarn in DK weight that you can knit with 3.5-4mm needles.

Rowan Alpaca Classic has not been spun with the traditional spinning method. It is a thin cotton mesh tube filled with soft and luxurious alpaca fibers, which results in a lightweight yarn with great meterage, and with a spectacular texture. 

Rowan Alpaca Classic, with its wide color palette, is the perfect yarn for knitting colorwork projects like Fair Isle vests or sweaters in intarsia. Knitted on larger needles, Rowan Alpaca Classic also gives great results in lace patterns.
