Description

Katia Polar are spongy skeins of velvety feeling that imitate the fur of the softest animals.

This faux-fur yarn is perfect for making light and warm winter accessories. Add a decorative touch to your favorite coat with a fantasy finishing in cuffs and collar made with this yarn.

Being 100% polyester, Polar is good too for knitting light blankets and baby accessories.

With 1 skein of Katia Polar, you can make a cowl or a hat. It is the perfect quick gift.

You can also make a light faux-fur coat for the winter. A size L jacket will take 10 skeins. To knit a simple long-sleeved pullover in size L you will need 5 skeins. Remember that this is only an indication and that your own tension, chosen stitch and kind of pattern may modify the calculations.

Find ideas and inspiration for knitting with Polar in the patterns available at Katia's website.

To get a more homogeneous finish, we suggest to alternate skeins every 2 rows when you make big garments. This way you will obtain a more even texture and color.

Polar by Katia is so soft that you won't stop to pet it!
