Malabrigo Sock is a soft, smoothly-plied and lightweight sock yarn perfect to knit light shawls and hard wearing 100% natural socks. This class of wool from the Uruguayan brand Malabrigo has been spun from luxurious merino wool and treated to make it machine washable for easy care.

Malabrigo Sock colors are in a range of semi-solid and watercolor multi colorways. Malabrigo dye lots are made in small batches and colors may slightly vary from one skein to another. Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project so you do not have to deal with abrupt color changes. Likewise to ensure random color distribution, we suggest to work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball. This way you will get a more uniform color transition.

Don’t be fooled by the name. While Malabrigo Sock is certainly a treat for the feet, this wonderful yarn will also look great in your favorite shawls and scarves! Malabrigo Sock is perfect to knit: lace, shawls, scarves, garments, baby and child items, gloves, and of course socks!
