Description

Soft, strong, and washable, Malabrigo Ríos is a 4-ply hard wearing yarn. Its plies help resist pilling. Moreover, Malabrigo Ríos is a very tough yarn and its washability makes it fantastic for frequently-worn garments. So if you are planning to knit or crochet housewares, clothes for children and baby garments, Malabrigo Ríos is a great choice for long lasting items.

Like all Malabrigo yarns, this class of yarn is super soft and great for next-to-the-skin wear!

Malabrigo Ríos has been spun from premium superwash merino wool that allows you to put your garments in the washing machine without problems.

Malabrigo Ríos comes in an array of colors, in semi-solid and variegated colorways. This yarn is great to knit and crochet accessories, garments, baby and kids items, housewares, toys, cables, textured stitches, colorwork.

Malabrigo dye lots are made in Uruguay in small batches and colors may slightly vary from one skein to another. Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project so you do not have to deal with abrupt color changes. Likewise to ensure random color distribution, we suggest to work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball. This way you will get a more uniform color transition.
