Description

La Madrilana are skeins of merino wool selected and spin in the NorthEast of the Iberian Peninsula. La Madrilana by dLana gets its name in honor of the city where this project was born, Madrid.

La Madrilana is an original wool, urbanite, thin, soft... With this yarn you can knit multifunctional jacquard garments, shawls, children clothes and lightweight garments that adapt to the rhythm of city life.

This yarn is the result of the close collaboration with long-established wool artisans who still perpetuate their work with pure wool from Spain, putting the best raw materials and original techniques at the service of our needles for the creation of exclusive high-quality yarns.

La Madrilana has a gamut of plain colors and mottled colors, colorways with character and enormous versatility to enjoy every stitch and every row.

Mulessing-Free wool: this practice is not carried out in Spain and in dLana, the producers of La Madrilana, they are against it, so all their wool comes from sheep free of this practice.

Natural wool: dLana wools are transformed without aggressive chemical processes and no finishes are applied, such as superwash or bleaching, which can damage the wool fiber.

La Madrilana is a very thin yarn, like a light fingering weight. Once blocked, garments made La Madrilana gain in fluffiness.
