Bambú 100% by Casasol are DK weight skeins made of bamboo fiber.

Bamboo fiber is a 100% natural material that has bactericidal properties that repel microorganisms. It is a natural yarn, cool, breathable, and sustainable.

Casasol's Bambú 100% is a soft 6-ply thread with a silky hand and a subtle shine similar to mercerized cotton. This thread slides easily in your needles, and the crochet hook will run with ease in your hands. This property will also make that your garments feel cool and have a marked gravity. 

This yarn by Casasol is made of bamboo viscose. That is: after their harvest, bamboo branches are submerged in a solvent until they become pulp or cellulose. After that, this 100% natural viscous matter is extruded to convert the bamboo vegetable fiber into a thread. In summary, Casasol's Bambú 100% is a natural fiber of vegetal origin, non-animal, and 100% biodegradable.

Casasol's Bambú 100% comes in 10 colors, in the same weight as combed cotton L (200 grams - 400 meters) and with the same dyeing certificates as cotton: DETOX TO ZERO by OEKO-TEX®.
